Al Thakhira Beach

The beach provides tranquil views of one of Qatar's largest and oldest dense mangrove forests. Benches on the beach, a walking promenade, and playgrounds for children make this an ideal family vacation. The mangrove vegetation that stretches down the coastline of this Northern Qatari beach is a lovely feature. While you can see the mangroves from the shoreline, joining a kayak excursion is more exciting. The biodiversity is breathtaking, and it's great to observe the numerous bird species that call this place home.
