Alexandre Pato
Alexandre Pato, born on September 2, 1989, is one of the richest professional footballers in Brazil. He plays as a striker and is currently a free agent, and most recently for São Paulo. He scored 12 goals in 27 appearances, helping the team to win the 2006 FIFA Club World Cup. In 2009, he scored 18 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions, winning the Golden Boy and Serie A Young Footballer of the Year award. In the 2010-11 season, he helped Milan win Serie A and became the club's top scorer, scoring 14 goals in 25 matches. In January 2013, Fatou returned to Brazil and signed a contract with the Corinthians for 15 million euros along with Campeonato Paulista. In 2014, Fatou moved to São Paulo on a two-year loan, scoring 38 goals in 95 appearances. In January 2016, Fatou moved to English Premier League side Chelsea on loan, and later that year to Spain's Villarreal. He moved to São Paulo in 2019 after signing with Chinese club Tianjin Tianhai in 2017.
A full-fledged Brazilian player since 2008, Pato was part of the team that won the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup and participated in the 2011 Copa América. He also won two Olympic medals in a row, including a bronze medal in 2008 and a silver medal four years later. He was voted one of the most valuable footballers in the world.
