Allcargo Logistics
Allcargo Logistics Limited (ALL) is an Indian logistics firm established in Mumbai. It is noted for providing multi-modal integrated logistics and transportation services around the world. Allcargo Logistics is one of the best logistics companies in India.
Shashi Kiran Shetty launched the company in 1994 as a cargo handling operator at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Mumbai. The company began as a customs house agent that also offered freight forwarding services. Allcargo was selected as the India agent by ECU-Line, an Antwerp-based logistics company, in 1995. JNPT was the site of the company's first Container Freight Station (CFS) in 2003. It opened two new CFSs in Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and Mundra (Gujarat) in 2007, as well as one in Kolkata (West Bengal) in 2017.
Under the name, Allcargo Logistics Industrial Parks Private Limited, Allcargo Logistics planned to monetize its existing land banks and expand into logistics and industrial parks to provide warehousing services in 2018. Allcargo will be one of the leading non-vessel operating common carriers by 2020, with an emphasis on LCL operations and local holdings in container freight stations, international supply chains, express distribution, and contract logistics.
