American International School of Kingston
Founded in 1994, the American International School of Kingston (AISK) is dedicated to preparing students emotionally, physically, and intellectually for global engagement and shaping the world they aspire to live in.
AISK follows an international standards-based curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of its student body. Clear standards and age-appropriate benchmarks ensure that college-bound students receive a high-quality education. The faculty, passionate and knowledgeable, employs varied teaching techniques to instill a love for learning in students.
AISK offers the US High School Diploma along with two International Baccalaureate (IB) options: IB Diploma Program - Courses and IB Diploma Program - Diploma. The IB Courses option enables students to concentrate on preferred academic subjects, allowing flexibility to choose from one to six subjects. This is ideal for those excelling in athletics or the arts and those seeking to deepen their study in specific academic areas.
For a more comprehensive IB experience, AISK offers the IB Diploma Program - Diploma. Completing this program not only grants university-level course credits but can also shorten the college career by up to a whole year. The program includes a challenging core curriculum extending beyond the classroom, integrating group activities, creativity, and community service into rigorous academic education.
AISK values the power of immersive education within its international community, fostering an understanding and appreciation of various cultures. Simultaneously, students proudly share the wonders of Jamaica with the global community.
