It is part of the Global Educational Movement UWC (United World Colleges), aiming to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future through education.
The educational program at UWC Costa Rica covers three main areas: Academics (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme), Co-Curricular, and Residence Life. Their mission is to educate a diverse group of students to become happy, healthy, and committed individuals capable of fostering positive change in their communities. The goal is to contribute to achieving a more sustainable and peaceful world through their leadership and engagement.
