Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Angkor Wat (Cambodia) is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the Southeast Asia region. Angkor Wat is claimed to be the world's largest religious monument, spanning 400 acres of land. Originally dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, it became a Buddhist temple around the end of the 12th century. It is no longer a temple now, but rather one of Cambodia's most popular tourist spots.

At Angkor Wat, you can explore Ta Prohm temple, the Bayon temple, the terrace of the elephants,… and so on. The complete span of Khmer art from the 9th to the 15th century is represented at Angkot Wat. This temple is regarded as Cambodia's heart and soul.
