Rothenburg is one of Germany's most attractive medieval villages and is located on the famous Romantic Road that runs through the south of the country. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is the entire name of this city, which means "Red Castle above the Tauber" (river). This is due to the town's location on a knap overlooking the Tauber River.

Rothenburg is very popular, so if you want to avoid the crowds, you should visit early in the morning and go within and outside the wall to get and have better pictures. The Charming Old Town is the primary attraction of this wonderful town.
