Ao Prao Beach

There are 14 white-sand beaches on Ko Samet, so there are lots of options, but Ao Prao Beach is one of the nicest. Because of the jewel-toned sea and fine white sand, the area is a popular weekend getaway for Bangkok residents. Another fantastic beach for families, tourists may swim in calm seas during the day and dine on local seafood at a beachside restaurant at night.

There are several high-end resorts to choose from, including luxury beachfront villas at Paradee Resort and comfy cottages with spa amenities at Le Vimarn Cottages & Spa. The weather at Ao Prao Beach is generally pleasant all year, but the ideal months to come are October through February, when the weather is milder.
