Yokomo Co. Ltd., also known as Kabushiki-gaisha Yokomo in Japan, is a Japanese company located in Adachi, Tokyo. They have established themselves as specialists in the field of radio-controlled cars. Yokomo was among the pioneering manufacturers in Japan to develop and produce their own RC cars, as well as offer upgrade parts for them. Additionally, they are credited with introducing the concept of RTR (Ready To Run) cars, which are fully assembled and ready for immediate use.

One of Yokomo's most renowned achievements is their extensive line of radio-controlled buggies called the "Dog Fighter" series, which has enjoyed long-term popularity. Furthermore, the company has made a significant impact in the world of Drift RC Cars, largely due to their notable successes in racing competitions.

Yokomo continued to develop their product line, and in 2003, they made a notable contribution to the R/C car industry by introducing radio-controlled drifting cars specifically designed for drifting purposes. In 2008, Yokomo collaborated with Tomy to release a series of miniature R/C cars based on licensed D1GP and drifting cars, similar to their existing R/C line.
