Arang and the Magistrate (2012)

Arang and the Magistrate revolve around two characters: the ghost Arang (Shin Min Ah) and the judge Eun Oh (Lee Jun Ki). Arang died unjustly and had absolutely no memory of the cause of his death. She became a ghost, specializing in intimidation, driving away new judges. Until she meets Eun Oh, a judge who looks cold on the outside but is warm inside, she asks him to clear her wrong. Thrilling, interesting situations between the two begin to arise, accompanied by love without distance.

Lee Jun Ki marks his comeback after serving in the military for two years with Arang and the Magistrate. All of the action scenes in the movie were performed by the actor himself to produce the most realistic and vivid video. One of the main reasons Japan spent millions of dollars to purchase the rights to this movie is because of his charisma. With this performance, Lee Jun Ki exhibited the radiant aura of a talented, attractive, and intelligent historian. At the 2012 MBC Drama Awards, his "chemistry" with co-star Shin Min Ah earned the Best Couple Award.
