Arion Banki hf, formerly Nja Kauping hf or New Kaupthing, is an Icelandic bank founded in 1930. The bank works throughout the Greater Reykjavik area the country's biggest urban districts as well as one of largest banks in Iceland. In 2016, the bank held the third biggest market share of Icelandic current accounts (30%), trailing only Landsbankinn (36.1%) and Íslandsbanki (31%). The bank has 21 branches throughout the country and more than 100,000 customers.
