Art Heritage Gallery
The Art Heritage Gallery, which is housed within the Triveni Kala Parishad, was founded in 1977 by Ebrahim and Roshen Alkazi to exhibit modern Indian art. Since 1977, the gallery has hosted 350 shows, including works by well-known artists like Tyeb Mehta, FN Souza, MF Hussain, Akbar Padamsee, and KG Subramanyam. Furthermore, Art Heritage has identified emerging talent and provided them with a key platform for establishing their mettle in their early years, as well as presenting their work overtime.
Despite the name, Art Heritage has developed a distinct identity over the years that is part private art gallery, half public museum, and part education center. It is not just a place to analyze art history. but also one that fosters future generations' creative output; it promotes conversation while also encouraging the cultural criticism that a developing democracy needs. Art Heritage, a professional organization, has announced its independence by refusing to accept any funding from either government or private sources. It performs the functions of an institution without utilizing the label.
