National Gallery of Modern Art
The National Gallery of Modern Art, designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield, is a well-known art gallery in Delhi, DL, India. The Government of India created the gallery in 1954. It is India's most important art gallery, overseen by the Ministry of Culture. The art gallery has a butterfly-shaped architecture with a central arch and three levels, with 12,000 square meters of exhibition area. In addition, there are numerous stone sculptures in the campus gardens.
This magnificent collection houses over 14,000 paintings, sculptures, and photographs by great painters from ancient to present times, including Nand Lal Bose, Amrita Shergill, Raja Ravi Varma, M F Hussain, and others. Tickets can be purchased for a reasonable price.
