Atlanta Jundungsa
Founded in 1992, the structure of this Korean Buddhist temple offers a harmonious blend of traditional Korean design and modern sensibilities. Within the temple's walls, a community of dedicated practitioners, both Korean and American, gathers to engage in various spiritual practices, including meditation, sutra chanting, and dharma talks.
These practices, rooted in the wisdom of Korean Buddhism, guide individuals toward self-discovery and a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of all beings. Regular meditation sessions, both guided and silent, are also organized at Atlanta Jundungsa, providing opportunities for everyone to cultivate inner peace and mindfulness. There are also Dharma talks, delivered by experienced Buddhist teachers, which offer insights into the teachings of the Buddha.
Beyond its spiritual offerings, Atlanta Jundungsa also serves as a cultural hub that fosters a deep appreciation for Korean traditions. The temple hosts various cultural events throughout the year, including traditional Korean dance performances, temple stays, and Korean language classes, allowing you to immerse yourself in Korean culture and learn more about the temple's heritage.
