Baidu Cloud
Baidu began construction on its cloud computing center in Yangquan, Shanxi, the hometown of the company's founder Robin Li, on August 19, 2012. According to reports, Baidu invested CNY4.708 billion in this facility, of which CNY2.92 billion went toward infrastructure and CNY1.788 billion went toward equipment.
It sought to "attract the best information technology manufacturers from across the world and support the growth of the information technology sector in Yangquan and Shanxi. Leading Chinese cloud provider Baidu Cloud is provided by the Baidu Incorporated. It has a wide range of functionality, including client software, interfaces with other parties, cloud storage, file management, and more.
By creating a client terminal, customers of the Baidu Cloud service can automatically sync files between Internet terminals. The company has become one of China's most well-liked cloud computing solutions since its introduction in 2012. The business, also known as Baidu Wangpan, offers 6 GB of storage space without charge. For free, it supports files up to 4 GB in size, and for money, 20 GB.
