Inspur Cloud
A Chinese startup called Inspur Cloud offers people all around the world cloud computing and data center solutions. It includes elements including cloud-based tax services and financial terminals, coupled with servers, HPC solutions, storage systems, and artificial intelligence.
Moreover, Inspur Cloud offers consumers a range of outsourced services as well as solutions for businesses, governmental agencies, and industrial clients. The corporation, with its headquarters in Jinan, China, began operations back in 2010.
Microsoft made a $20 million US investment in the business in 2005. Inspur and VMware, a maker of virtualization software, have made a number of agreements on the study and creation of cloud computing technologies and associated goods. Inspur purchased the Xi'an-based R&D facilities of Qimonda AG in 2009 for 30 million Chinese yuan (about $4 million). The center was in charge of creating and designing Qimonda's DRAM products.
A joint venture for cloud computing was founded in 2011 by Shandong Inspur Software Co., Ltd., Inspur Electronic Information Co., Ltd., and Inspur (Shandong) Electronic Information Company, with each company owning a third.
