Bank Leumi
Bank Leumi is an Israeli bank. It was started on February 27, 1902, in Jaffa as the Anglo Palestine Company. It was a branch of the Jewish Colonial Trust Limited, which was started in London by members of the Zionist movement to help develop the industry, construction, agriculture, and infrastructure of the land that was hoped to become Israel. As of 2015, Bank Leumi is Israel's biggest bank in terms of total assets. It has offices in the US, Switzerland, the UK, Mexico, Uruguay, Romania, Jersey, and China, as well as Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
