Beautiful Beaches

Accra, Dover, Miami, and Maxwell are the best family-friendly beaches on the southern coast. Family-friendly beaches on the western coast include those at Mullins Bay, Mullins Rock, Brighton, and Batts Rock, all of which offer public amenities, beach rentals, and restaurants nearby or on the beach itself. Swimming is prohibited along the island's eastern coast, which borders the Atlantic and is populated by a seasoned surfing community because of the area's large waves.
