Bequia
The island of Bequia is part of the country of Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, an archipelago of 32 islands and islets located towards the southern end of the Caribbean island chain. Bequia lies 9 miles south of the capital island, St. Vincent, and is the largest of the Grenadine islands, but still only around 5,000 inhabitants.
Bequia is a tourist popular with cruising expats and tourists. Bequia's busiest start times of the year are the annual Easter Regatta and Music Fest, which is held over two weeks at the end of June, and the beginning of July annually, and is St Vincent's most well-known festival. Visit Princess Margaret Beach, a beach named for Princess Margaret, who had a home on nearby Mustique, visited Bequia in the 1950s and had the beach renamed in her honor, and a few more places like Industry Bay, Tony Gibbons Beach, Petit Nevis, is a small, privately owned island in the Grenadines, off the coast of Bequia or visit Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary, The Liming Bequia Real Estate.
