Canouan is a small island belonging to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, with a size of only 5.6 km by 2 km, and has a surface of 7.6 km², which lies approximately 40 km south of the island of St. Vincent. Canouan Island is famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, including Grand Bay Beach, located close to Charlestown, the island's main town.
