Bindura University of Science Education
Bindura University of Science Education is a Zimbabwean university that provides courses in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, as well as Science Education, Commerce, and Social Sciences. Bindura, about 87 kilometers north of Harare, is the location of the university. Bindura is the provincial capital of Mashonaland Central Province and a small town with a population of around 40,000 people. It provides a peaceful semi-urban setting. Bindura University is home to the National Sports Academy, which fosters the development of identified talent in order to achieve international success. It also intends to promote high-performance sport development research and any other research that can improve sport decision-making, as well as the formation of partnerships with international organizations and donor agencies to support joint programs.
Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) aspires to be a knowledge hub and a model of excellence in teaching, research, and extension services. The University exists to contribute to Zimbabwe's development by advancing knowledge and skills in science education. It aims to produce innovative, highly regarded graduates who are well-versed in research, entrepreneurship, and technology for the benefit of the nation and the international community.
