The Binladin Contracting Group (BCG), also known as the Saudi Binladin Group (SBG), is a multinational construction corporation headquartered in Al Khabaisi, Dubai with approximately 537 subsidiaries.
Binladin Contracting Group (BCG) was founded in 1931 by Sir Sheikh Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden Sayyid, who had a close relationship with the country's founder, Sir Abdulaziz Al Saud. This relationship has facilitated important government contracts such as the refurbishment of mosques in Mecca and Medina that BCG did.
In 2011, Binladin Contracting Group signed a contract agreement worth more than 1 billion US dollars to proceed with the construction of the world's tallest building, the Jeddah Tower in Jeddah. In addition, BCG is also a member of a US$3.4 billion contract to build the Doha Metro in Doha.
