Blinding Lights
The Weeknd has released "Blinding Lights", the second single from his fourth studio album, "After Hours". The song debuted at number 11 – but after four weeks the product was able to stay at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on March 30, 2020. On Monday (September 6), Chart Data was available on Twitter reports that The Weeknd's hit "Blinding Lights" has just hit 3 billion streams on Spotify, and it's also the only song in history to reach this rare milestone "so fast".
Only eight songs have reached 2 billion streams on Spotify so far, and “Blinding Lights” is one of the records to do so. “Blinding Lights” is a tune about a guy who has developed a strong emotional dependence on his romantic interest. And the reason he's appeared so vulnerable in the first place seems to be that he's endured a toxic relationship before, in addition to being single for so long.
