Bone Tomahawk
"Bone Tomahawk," directed by S. Craig Zahler, is set in the late 1800s in the town of Bright Hope, where a small group of people embarks on a dangerous rescue mission after a cannibalistic group abduct several townspeople, including the wife of one of the townsfolk.
As the group journeys into the treacherous and uncharted territory known as the "Valley of the Starving Men," they face harsh weather conditions and perilous encounters with hostile Native Americans. However, they soon discover that their real threat comes from the cannibalistic tribe known as the "Troglodytes," who are ruthless and brutal in their attacks.
"Bone Tomahawk" is praised for its unconventional blending of the Western and horror genres. Its gritty cinematography and haunting score also add to the overall suspense, aided by great acting and weaving plot twists to offer a harrowing journey into the unknown where survival is uncertain.
