Broad City

Broad City is a television comedy produced and starring Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson in the United States. It grew out of their independently created web series of the same name, which aired between 2009 and 2011. Like the online series, the sitcom is based on Glazer and Jacobson's real-life relationship and their attempts to "make it" in New York.

The comedy debuted on Comedy Central on January 22, 2014, and ran for five seasons until finishing on March 28, 2019. Throughout its course, the show gained critical praise and was named one of the finest television shows of the 2010s. Broad City follows Ilana and Abbi, two Jewish American women in their twenties, on their adventures in New York City.
