Brunonia
In India, the history of Brunonia beer is not very lengthy. A mother and daughter team from Ciro Trade Private Limited, who are dedicated to introducing top-shelf European beers to India, initially presented it in 2021. Germany's Braunschweig Hofbrauhaus Wolters, a 350-year-old brewery, is the source of Brunonia.
The beer is produced in Germany using age-old techniques and materials before being shipped to India. There are two flavors of Brunonia: a German lager and a wheat beer.
German lagers have a substantial body and a crisp, dry hop finish. It is brewed with floral and fruity fragrances from European Noble hops, and it has a golden color and a thick head. The wheat beer is full-bodied as well, although it has a foggy appearance and a flavor that is slightly acidic. It has a fruity flavor suggestive of banana and cloves and is brewed with more than 50% wheat malt.
The cost of Brunonia beer varies in India depending on the retailer's location and the size of the bottle. For instance, a 330ml bottle of Brunonia Premium Pilsener Beer costs approximately 59 rupees in Bangalore whereas a 500ml bottle of Brunonia Premium Wheat Beer costs approximately 82 rupees in Chennai.
