Bua Tong Waterfall, Thailand
On the northern outskirts of the city of Chiang Mai, there is a waterfall called Bua Tong, commonly known as Sticky Waterfall. One of Chiang Mai's most popular tourist attractions, Bua Tong Waterfall is also among Thailand's most stunning waterfalls. This waterfall is unique not because it is particularly large, but rather because you can climb all the way up above it. The water gets thick and feels a little bit sticky due to the limestone quarries upstream. The flow was hazardous due to twisted ropes above and moss-covered rocks.
Visitors can easily ascend Bua Tong and pause in the fields because the high concentration of calcium carbonate in the water here makes the rocks rougher, easier to grab, and less slippery than in other waterfalls. There is grass on the tower's top where people can camp and eat. Climbing Bua Tong waterfall will give you the impression of being totally surrounded by nature. At Bua Tong, visitors can unwind completely before continuing their exploration of Thailand.
