Nohkalikai, the fourth-tallest waterfall in the world, is renowned for the natural beauty of the surrounding evergreen forest as well as the vibrantly colored lagoon at its base. The falls are close to Cherrapunji, which is renowned for being one of the wettest places on earth. Heavy rainfall is delivered in this area, however, it lessens from December to February of the following year during the dry season. The monsoon season is the best time to visit Nohkalikai because it is when the falls are at their most breathtaking.
