Cahul
Moldovan wines are arguably the most distinctive feature, as they produce a great number of them each year. Although the region has several vineyards, the southern portion of the country, including Cahul, is one of the places where you can get mass-produced wines, most of which you can sample as a tourist. Given the location's remoteness from the city, the people's adherence to old customs is no surprise. Cahul's villages have a high regard for culture, making the city a popular venue for the country's cultural events.
It provides tourists with a variety of activities to do in Cahul during their staycation. "Nufărul Alb," or the International Folk Music Festival, "Cântecele tinereții noastre," or the Pop Music Festival, and "Bobocel," or the International Festival of Popular Dance for Children, are just a few of the festivals they enjoy.
