Calbee
Calbee is a major Japanese snack food maker. The company was founded in devastated post-war Hiroshima by Takashi Matsuo in 1949. Its headquarters are at Marunouchi Trust Tower Main, Marunouchi, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It launched operations at a new plant in the United States for making its mainstay products "Kappa Ebisen" shrimp chips and "Saya-endo" snow pea crisps. Its snacks are hugely popular in Asia and are well known in the United States.
Calbee entered the United States in 1970 with Shrimp Chips and Saya, utilizing natural and high-quality ingredients. They have always been passionate about delivering a variety of delicious snacks, which makes snacking a more wholesome and enjoyable experience for all, including their flagship brand "Harvest Snaps". They also manufacture and sell popular Japanese and South Korean products. The "Honey Butter Chips", which were introduced in 2014, quickly became a popular product in South Korea, with many customers praising them.
