Welcome to Photography Basics and Beyond: From Smartphone to DSLR, Course One! You'll gain the information and confidence you need to make informed decisions as you explore the features of the camera you have and the features of other types of digital cameras you might be considering in these first four Modules. You'll learn about the essential features that most digital cameras share. You'll also learn how to generate engaging photos by emphasizing the characteristics of Frame and Vantage Point to interpret old topics in new ways, in addition to the "technical" aspects.
You'll also learn about important accessories for photographers and the several sorts of camera cases available, ranging from tiny to carry-on size. You'll also take your first photographs and, if you're a specialized subscriber, publish them to the web gallery, where you may engage with other students in our "Gallery." Let's get Module One underway!
