Canadian International School
The Canadian International School (CIS) is an IB school where students from over 70 countries come together. They follow the IB programmes, which help all students understand similar things while allowing schools to create experiences that suit their students.
For the little ones in nursery, CIS uses the IB PYP framework to teach skills like reading, counting, and playing. From pre-kindergarten to Grade 10, CIS teaches using the IB PYP and Middle Years (MYP) methods. The Canadian International School takes good things from different school programs worldwide to make a special one for their diverse students.
Grades 11 and 12 follow the IB Diploma Programme, ensuring a standardized global curriculum and readiness for Grade 12 examinations and facilitating smooth transitions between IB schools and national curricula.
Their Lakeside Campus embraces a school-within-a-school design, fostering distinct communities from nursery to grade 12. Modern classrooms and learning spaces support their inquiry-based approach and nurture a strong sense of community.
The Canadian International School has teachers from different countries, like Canada, Australia, the UK, and more. They bring different ideas to the school, making it an exciting place to learn. CIS also works with ACS Oldham Hall to offer boarding facilities for students. It helps make sure students have a great place to stay and study in Singapore.
