Castaway Island

Castaway Island, also known as Qalito Island, is tucked away in the Mamanuca Chain, a 20-island chain to the south of the Yasawa Islands. It's one of Fiji's most popular beaches, thanks to its apparently infinite white sand beach and off-the-coast technicolor hard coral gardens. What people like about visiting Castaway Island is that there is never a dull moment. You have access to a beautiful beachfront where you may go diving, snorkeling, or see the coral. High-intensity watersports such as windsurfing and kayaking can also be enjoyed.

If you wish to have a range of experiences in one location, Castaway Island should be on your list of must-see Fiji beaches! The Castaway Island Resort, a four-star resort with private thatched bures (bungalows) nestled amid gorgeous tropical gardens, is also located on the island. You can either take a launch from Denarau Marina or a heli/seaplane from Nadi Airport to get to the island. A high-speed catamaran Castaway Island day cruise is available for those who like the convenience of touring. Lunch, transportation, snorkeling equipment, use of the Castaway Island Resort pool, and five hours on Castaway Island are all included.
