South Sea Island

The most popular day cruise island in Fiji is South Sea Island in the Mamanuca Islands. Port Denarau is only a half-hour high-speed catamaran trip away, so you're always just a short boat ride away from Viti Levu's main island. South Sea Island, despite its modest size, has many things to keep you entertained. You can take a ride on the semi-submersible submarine to see the island's underwater wonderland or swim in the saltwater pool all day.

To make the most of your visit, you are recommended to try out the complimentary non-motorized water sports equipment (such as snorkeling gear, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards). If you are visiting Fiji on a budget, this is a wonderful method to get the most bang for your buck. Awesome beach dives and an intentionally buried shipwreck are also nearby, providing lots of sights for beginner and certified divers.
