Cayman Islands Orchid Show
Cayman Islands Orchid Show is known as the most famous orchid festival in the Cayman Islands. On the weekend of March 27 and 28, orchid lovers get together to admire the beautiful flowers on display at Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Park with a fundraising plan. The banana orchid, the national flower of the Cayman Islands, is just one of dozens of orchid species on display at this most famous festival's exhibits. Visitors can purchase these beauties, learn how to grow them, or simply admire the flower arrangements during this two-day festival.
Visitors to this famous festival can discover the pleasant scents, vibrant colors, and fascinating fairy tales of some of the rarest and most exotic orchids for the duration of the event. In addition to a lovely display of hundreds of species of orchids, this two-day festival also includes a fundraiser, orchid sales, live music, food, and various educational talks to help teachers educate orchid enthusiasts. The Cayman Islands Orchid Show and fundraising is held annually with the help of the Cayman Islands Orchid Society. In addition, the exhibition displays hundreds of species of orchids in bloom from several members of the Cayman Island Orchid Society.
