Cayo Largo del Sur

Cayo Largo is a resort island with excellent white beaches and sparkling seas that is also one of Cuba's most romantic honeymoon spots. It is famous for its beaches, which include Playa Los Cocos, Playa Lindarena, and Playa Blanca. Take a catamaran trip with your lover or go kayaking in the pristine seas of Playa Sirena. Tidal flats surround the shore, where you may observe starfish and other colorful marine life. Cayo Largo tolerates nudism, and you and your companion may relax in an adult setting. Cayo Largos' west beaches, Playa Sirena and Playo Paraiso, are popular tourist destinations. These beaches are a kilometer apart and may be easily walked between when the tide is low. Sirena provides travelers with full service amenities. A shuttle "train" service that transports visitors from the resorts to these beaches is no longer in operation, despite having been in place for many years. Paraiso is one of the world's best unspoilt beaches. During turtle egg laying season, beach activities may be restricted. The beach offers hotel-related water activities, a restaurant, a dolphin attraction, and docks for catamaran rides. The lee side of the beach features tidal flats where many very large starfish congregate and other tropical fish are easily viewed.
