Chamorro Lunar Calendar Festival

The Chamorro Lunar Calendar Festival is one of the most famous festivals in Guam, and it commemorates the Chamorro culture, which the residents strive to preserve and promote. The event also strives to provide both locals and tourists a better understanding of the local culture. Because everyone is welcome, all of these events are one big party for both locals and tourists.

The festival will feature Chamorro-themed exhibits, displays, demonstrations, and entertainment. Local artisans will demonstrate their talents, provide opportunities for learning, and sell culturally created things. Through chanting, song, and movement, cultural artists will give continual visual stimulation and enjoyment.

On Chamorro Lunar Calendar Festival, local farmers and fishermen will demonstrate their skills by offering samples of their crops and meals for sale. We encourage people to "Buy Local." The event will highlight recycling, with AK AC/Delco providing a battery buy-back drop-off location.
