At Chiligatoro Lagoon, residents of Chiligatoro said that there once appeared a giant black bull, appearing to scare people. However, people call the shaman to come to heal because sometimes this animal has a golden color. To cure the bull, they used a bull's horn, three black cat hairs, and chili peppers, it seems that with this remedy they drove the bull away. It is important to note that the Chiligatoro Lagoon was built in 1962 by the residents of Lenca village, as their main purpose was to use this source as a reservoir for water for their crops.
