Chomoni
Chomoni is a little white sand beach on the Comoro Islands, located east of Great Comoro island. It is approximately 500 meters long. It is well-known for its turquoise sea and palm trees that grow straight on the shore. The contrast of colors in this beach will captivate you, because the blue of the ocean, mixed with the greens of all the vegetation that surrounds it, and the white of its sand, create a soothing and serene mood. There are some rocks along the route, but it is unquestionably a beach worth seeing.
Chomoni Beach provides excellent snorkeling and plenty of leisure. Swim or bring snorkeling equipment to explore the warm waters and diverse marine life, then relax on the beach and stare at the volcanic rocks strewn across the little harbor. Consider an overnight stay in one of the rustic cottages near to the water and a feast of fresh lobsters and seafood collected and prepared by the locals.
