Citrus Trees
The lemon (Citrus limon) is a species of small evergreen tree native to Asia, primarily Northeast India (Assam), Northern Myanmar, and China. The ellipsoidal yellow fruit of the tree is used for both culinary and non-culinary purposes around the world, primarily for its juice, which has both culinary and cleaning applications. Both the pulp and the rind are used in cooking and baking. Lemon juice contains 5% to 6% citric acid and has a pH of around 2.2, giving it a sour taste. Lemon juice's distinct sour flavor makes it a key ingredient in drinks and foods such as lemonade and lemon meringue pie.
According to Chinese Feng Shui, growing citrus trees in containers indoors is another way to attract money and good luck. Citrus trees, for example, are said to bring good fortune and prosperity to the home. Citrus trees are used in the gardens of some Feng Shui practitioners. You can, however, grow many ornamental orange, lemon, and lime trees inside your home.
Citrus trees grown indoors can be small shrub-like plants that grow in small pots. If you want a taller plant in a room, you can train a citrus tree to grow taller. Citrus ornamental plants are ideal for kitchens, but they can also add a touch of elegance to any other room. According to Feng Shui, the best citrus trees for good luck are dwarf lime trees or lemon trees.
