Clarins Hydrating Toning Lotion
Clarins' new Expert collection of ten cleansers and toners is formulated with Alpine herbs collected from the mountains and is suitable for all skin types. The botanical-based French brand's most comprehensive range to date, it has been formulated with 100 percent organic ingredients sourced directly from Clarins' own Alpine farm and open-air laboratory, Le Domaine Clarins (in the French Alps), a protected ten-hectare site with no air or soil pollution at an altitude of 1,400 meters. The three toners in the series aim to cleanse, soften, and tone the skin while fostering a balanced skin microbiome. Each toner features a distinct botanical pair that is geared to different skin types and varies in strength from lightweight to more intense.
The Hydrating Toning Lotion, which is intended for normal to dry skin, contains aloe vera and fig extracts to nourish and profoundly hydrate, as well as the Microbiote Complex, a Clarins invention that helps restore a balanced skin flora and is found in all three of the new toners. This complex, which contains a combination of marine components (saltwater, two types of seaweed, chlorella and laminaria, and polyphonous, a floral extract from the saffron flower), successfully restores the microbiota and leaves skin feeling fresh and unaffected.
