Kiehl’s Heritage Rosewater Toner
Kiehl's, the apothecary-styled brand favored by both men and women, is celebrating its 170th anniversary this year. It began as an old-world pharmacy in New York City's East Village (1851), quickly carving a position for itself with its individualized service and "skincare-for-all" concept, which incorporated cutting-edge technology and highly effective products. To commemorate this significant milestone, the brand has released a limited-edition Heritage Collection, which digs deep into its archives to bring back three favorite formulations from the past three decades; historical game-changers reimagined for today's consumer and pioneering revolutionary beauty trends when they first launched.
In the 1960s, the Heritage French Rosewater Toner made its debut, heralding the dawn of the multi-step skincare program. It makes a reappearance, blended with imported rosewater (a natural toner proven to safeguard the skin's pH balance) and responsibly obtained entire Turkish rose petals that have been plucked by hand. The floral essence is soft, suitable for all skin types (even sensitive), and perfumed with a fresh but subtle aroma. It also contains salicylic acid and arginine, a protein-rich amino acid with soothing and relaxing properties.
Price: £40 for 230ml.
