Coral Beach

Coral Beach is a rare marine reserve in the Red Sea, 6 kilometers from Eilat. Volcanic sand covers the whole shoreline. Off the shore sits Israel's biggest coral reef, with a length of around 1.2 kilometers. Sunshades are available on the beach. There is no longer any beach infrastructure. Divers are particularly interested in coral reefs. In multi-colored coral thickets, thousands of species of indigenous Red Sea wildlife – jellyfish, crabs, octopuses, tropical fish, moray eels, stingrays, and sea urchins — dwell. It is illegal to feed fish, and anyone who do so will be fined heavily.
