Gordon
Gordon municipal beach is located on the shore of Tel Aviv's central district, near Dizengoff and Yitzhak Rabin Squares. The shore, which is covered with beautiful golden sand, is one of the most popular holiday places for locals. Tourists from all around the world join local holidaymakers throughout the summer. There are a lot of families on vacation.
J L Gordon Street, one of Tel Aviv's principal east-west thoroughfares, is the inspiration for Gordon Beach. This is the most popular of Tel Aviv's several beaches, and you'll have to get there early on a hot, sunny day to avoid competing with families, tourists, and teenagers. Gordon Beach begins from the Tel Aviv Marina's south end and runs for about half a kilometer before changing its name to Frishman Beach.
Gordon Beach has a sports ground with exercise machines, a playground, beach soccer and volleyball fields, showers and toilets, fresh water taps, changing cabins, rental points for sun loungers, umbrellas, tables, and water equipment for parasailing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, and sky-surfing, as well as a seawater swimming pool and slides.
On the beach, you'll find bars, a pizza, a cafe-restaurant, a bistro, ice cream stands, stores, and souvenir shops. Rescuers have been dispatched. There are numerous nice hotels along the seaside, as well as prominent restaurants serving local and foreign cuisine, art galleries, and entertainment venues.
