Craig and Wendy McCaw – the pair who are widely famous for their building a great telecom empire together. They finalized their bond of relationship by marriage in 1963 before Craig and Wendy McCaw divorced in 1998 following a long time. Unfortunately, after almost 24 years of their not so good marriage life, they decided to divorce and split. As compensation for the divorce, Wendy McCaw received almost $460 million.
Wendy used this huge amount to free the killer whale, Keiko. Shortly before their divorce, they sold their cell phone company to AT&T for about $1.12 trillion. It was one of the most expensive divorces and took 7th place on our list.
