Cruise up the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
Riders can travel more than 2.5 miles along the stunning cliffs of Chino Canyon on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the largest revolving tram car in the world, before arriving at the untamed wildness of Mt. San Jacinto State Park. Tram vehicles rotate slowly as you travel for around 10 minutes, providing beautiful and breathtaking views of the valley floor below. You may enjoy two restaurants, observation decks, a natural history museum, two documentary cinemas, a gift shop, and more than 50 kilometers of hiking paths at the Mountain Station, which is located at an elevation of 8,516 feet.
Take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, which boasts the largest revolving tramcars in the world, up Mount San Jacinto 8500 feet on a spinning tram car. View the vast desert from above while walking or hiking along the more than 50 km of paths.
The trip is 2.5 miles long, takes 10 minutes, and drops the temperature by almost 30 degrees relative to the valley level. In search of snow? Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snow camping (with a permission) are all feasible during the winter.
