The organization, which was established in 1999, is the owner and operator of several online travel firms, including Trip.com, Skyscanner, Qunar, Travix, and Ctrip.
It was established in 1999 and is today one of the biggest travel service providers worldwide and China's largest online travel agency (OTA). As part of China Eastern's launch of a new airline in Hainan in June 2020, ambitions to turn the island into a free trade center are expected to increase air traffic there.
