Natural Monument Cueva Alfredo Jahn Tapa de Cambural Cave or Alfredo Jahn Cave Natural Monument is one of the Most Mesmerizing Caves in Venezuela. It is a protected area with natural monument status located 4 kilometers west of Birongo, Miranda State, at the eastern extremity of the Cordillera de la Costa's Coastal Range. It is the largest cave in central Venezuela, the sixth in Venezuela, and one of the most visited in the country, with a 4.29 km gallery development.
On December 12, 1978, it was declared a Natural Monument by Decree No. 2989, which was published in Official Gazette No. 2,417 on March 7, 1979. It is a damp cave that has been produced by the Cambural Gorge's movement and is still active. The beautiful stalagmites, stalactites, and columns that cover its calcite walls achieve their peak growth in the Hall of the Chaguaramo, or Hall of the Rain.
The cave's temperature is between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius. The cave is flanked by three dense tree layers in a pre-montane seasonal semideciduous forest.
