Natural Monument Cueva Alfredo Jahn Tapa de Cambural Cave or Alfredo Jahn Cave Natural Monument is one of the Most Mesmerizing Caves in Venezuela. It is a protected area with natural monument status located 4 kilometers west of Birongo, Miranda State, at the eastern extremity of the Cordillera de la Costa's Coastal Range. It is the largest cave in central Venezuela, the sixth in Venezuela, and one of the most visited in the country, with a 4.29 km gallery development.

On December 12, 1978, it was declared a Natural Monument by Decree No. 2989, which was published in Official Gazette No. 2,417 on March 7, 1979. Alfredo Jahn, the founder of the Venezuelan Society of Natural Sciences, was a pioneer of numerous scientific fields in Venezuela, including geography, geography, topography, astronomy, anthropology, linguistics, and botany.

It is a damp cave that has been produced by the Cambural Gorge's movement and is still active. The beautiful stalagmites, stalactites, and columns that cover its calcite walls achieve their peak growth in the Hall of the Chaguaramo, or Hall of the Rain.

The cave's temperature is between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius. The cave is flanked by three dense tree layers in a pre-montane seasonal semideciduous forest.

The National Park of Cueva del Guácharo, one of the Most Mesmerizing Caves in Venezuela, is located 12 kilometers from Caripe, Monagas, Venezuela. Its focal point is a big limestone cave.

Alexander von Humboldt visited the cave in 1799 and discovered that the hundreds of oilbirds (guácharos in Spanish; scientific name Steatornis caripensis) that reside there belonged to an undiscovered species. The frugivorous, nocturnal species was named after the town of Caripe by Humboldt. The cave is a 10-kilometer-long limestone cavern with numerous big chambers and magnificent rock formations. The temperature within the cave is usually around 19 °C, with a humidity level of 100 percent.

Oilbirds are fruit-eating birds who live in the cave's initial portion. They leave in the middle of the night in search of food. Because of their distinctive sound, the Spanish name guácharo is onomatopoeic, and comes from an old Castilian phrase for someone who shrieks or yells. They have a long tail and bristles around their beak and are dark with black and white patches. They are approximately 48 cm long, including the tail. The guácharos produce an organic layer in the cave called guano, which is made up of excrement and vomited seeds and provides the cave's environment with fundamental nutrients.

The park's most important daily event happens in the evening, when dusk falls, when large flocks of birds leave the cave in quest of food. The birds leaving the cave can be seen by visitors.

The Haitón del Guarataro is a solutional cave system located 2.5 kilometers (1.6 miles) south-east of Curimagua in the Sierra de San Luis, Falcón State, Venezuela. The entrance is a tourist attraction within the Juan Crisóstomo Falcón National Park, and it is Venezuela's deepest limestone cave.

A massive entrance shaft with a diameter of 12 meters (39 feet) leads to a stream passage that follows the dip down for about 350 meters (1,150 feet) to the north, where it chokes, via dips of 168 meters (551 feet), 55 meters (180 feet), and 19 meters (62 feet). There is an upstream passage that goes south for about 150 meters (490 feet) to the foot of a shaft. The cave has a total length of 640 meters and a depth of 305 meters (1,001 feet) (2,100 ft). Members of the Venezuela '73 British Karst Research Expedition were the first to investigate and survey it in April 1973. Oligocene reefal limestone is responsible for its formation.

During the cave excavation, a faunal survey was conducted, but only a few cavernicoles were discovered. Cave crickets, phalangodid harvestmen, a depigmented troglophile garnmarid shrimp (Hyalella meinerti) discovered in a big pool, and a troglobitic trichopolydesmid millipede discovered on the top of the terminal chamber were among the creatures discovered.

Sima Humboldt (Sima Mayor), one of the Most Mesmerizing Caves in Venezuela, is a massive sinkhole on the crest of the Sarisariama Tepui plateau in Bolvar State, Venezuela. It's exceptional for a variety of reasons, including its great size and depth, its location on the summit of the lone forested tepui, the presence of a patch of woodland at its foot, and the weathering process that created it. Alexander von Humboldt, a scientist and explorer, was honored with the feature's name.

It was discovered in 1961 by pilot Harry Gibson, along with the nearby Sima Martel. In 1974, the sinkhole was descended for the first time, and in 1976, it was further explored. It has a volume of 18,000,000 m3 (640,000,000 cu ft), a maximum width of 352 m (1,155 ft) at the top and 502 m (1,647 ft) below, and a depth of 314 m. (1,030 ft).

Another massive sinkhole, Sima Martel, lies only 700 meters from the rim of Sima Humboldt. On Sarisariama, there are four caves in all.
