Dalma Island
Dalma Island / Delma Island is one of the oldest settlements as well as one of the most beautiful islands in the United Arab Emirates. Located almost 26 kilometers from Abu Dhabi, it is best known for its archaeological sites. Delma was also an important center of the pearl trade dating back nearly 7,000 years. Previous archaeological excavations have revealed significant finds, including stone tools, shells and beads, and fragments of Ubaid pottery.
